You must be 16 or over on 5 May 2022 to vote in this election and must register to vote by 18 April 2022.
Voting by Post
Polling Stations will be open and following all public health advice. In the current circumstances, particularly the COVID pandemic, you may be thinking about perhaps voting by post.
If so, and you are not already registered to vote by post, you must get your application form in by 5.00pm on 19 April 2022.

You must complete the application form in full using black ink, providing your signature and date of birth.
You can also arrange to vote by proxy, meaning another person is authorised to vote on your behalf. A signature and date of birth are also required for proxy voters. Apply to vote by proxy
